San Diego Padres vs San Francisco Giants Prediction: A Same-Game Parlay to Reduce the Juice
We’re drinking some juice here but it feels like such a safe bet. The San Diego Padres take on the San Fransico Giants this afternoon. Josh Gayle breaks down this same game parlay. Let's take a look at my prediction, pick, and odds for the Giants vs Padres.

I’ve explained how to place this bet possibly a million times so I’ll save you all that speech. This juice reducer feels so safe, all 15 games that Clevinger started he has held teams below nine runs. Giants bat .227 on the season against righties and haven’t scored 9+ runs when the opposing team starts a righty since June 21st, over two months ago. Giants would be lucky to score four or five runs let alone a wild total of nine. If I’m watching baseball at 1 am and watch Josh Hader blow this for us I will promise to never bet on anything Padres related unless it’s the first five innings.
San Francisco Giants vs San Diego Padres Prediction
The tough part of this bet is the NRSI but I love it. We get to avoid the Soto/Machado at-bats for San Diego and the Giants haven’t scored in 11 of their last 12 second innings and the only time they did was against a lefty. Giants actually hit lefties quite well which I hope is more reason that we don’t see Josh Hader tonight! The numbers are all there that they can’t hit righties.
Clevinger has a great history vs the Giants bats although it’s a small sample size. The bats are a measly 2-17 against him with 1 RBI. I expect him to maybe allow 2-3 runs but nothing too wild. Rodon is on the mound for the Giants and we love betting on him, I can never take him to record a win because his run support situation is rough. We just need three outs from this stud and he should be able to hold it down against the Padres not named Soto or Machado. Myers is 0-2 against him, Drury is 1-5 and Cronenworth is 0-7. We need six outs and then the Giants no score nine against a righty which they haven’t done in over two months, if the NRSI hits we’re staying up late rooting against the Giants' offense, let's roll!
