A much smaller slate of baseball tonight, with a number of games, either underway or already finished. I’ve got two players in plus spots tonight, so let’s get a hit builder ironed out.

I’ve got a two-leg hit parlay for tonight, with the odds coming out -102, needing one hit from each to get the green.

Xander Bogaerts (BOS) to get a hit (-290)

Bogaerts has been very good of late, with 2 hits in each of his last 4 games (and 2 hits in 6 of his last 7 games). Bogaerts has faced Glenn Otto before and is 1-for-3 (.333) off him. Otto gives up much more to RHB than LHB, allowing righties to bat .260 off him (while lefties bat .184) while Bogaerts is batting .292 off RHP. I like him to keep things rolling tonight.

Dansby Swanson (ATL) to get a hit (-210)

Swanson has a hit in 8 of his last 9 games and 69% of games played this season. He was held hitless last night, but was walked twice, limiting his opportunities to keep an eight-game hitting streak alive. Swanson is batting .279 off RHP, and Chad Kuhl of the Rockies allows RHB to hit .286 off him. Swanson is also 4-for-7 (.571) off Kuhl, so he’s had success against the Rockies’ pitcher. Swanson and the Braves bats are in a very good spot tonight.
