Thursday's MLB Best Bets: Kyle Gibson, Dylan Cease, and the Strikeout Watch List

Look people, I'm going to shoot you straight here. The list today sucks in every single way it can. For starters, it's the first day of NFL and I'm writing (you're reading) something about baseball. Not great. On top of that, there are like seven games in MLB today. That's just not a lot to pick through to find ladders. Especially since we want ladders that go all the way to the moon. There's no reason to climb the ladder that doesn't go to the moon. It's dumb. Still, the strong fight on even in the face of adversity so that's what I did here. It's a stretch to think that either of these guys can get home on these numbers but sometimes bets that look like they have no chance of winning turn out to be the best bets. Everyone knows that. That's why we need to be aware of these two guys tonight. Give them the right lineup and they might surprise you.

Remember, we need to see AT LEAST five of these batters in these lineups when they are released. If that happens, get your space suit on. If we don't see at least five of these names in each lineup, walk away. We'll find something better. Also, don't forget to be somebody today.
