This is tied for the most juice we’ve ever laid on MLB but the last time we did it we had a sweat-free win and this could be no different. This number being available doesn’t make sense. It should be 4.5 all day long. Morton has allowed 4+ hits in 17/26 games and gets a matchup with a Mariners team who have 4+ hits against starters in nine of their last 10 games. Mariners have been hitting better as of late and this will be a game they’re motivated to keep climbing the standings.

Morton has started 12 games on the road this year and is significantly worse on the road. At home, he has an impressive 2.96 but on the road a miserable 5.24 ERA. This game is being played in Seattle so I expect more of the same from Morton. Morton has allowed 4+ hits in 10/12 away games. The two misses we’re against the Reds and Cubs so two nonplayoff teams.
I really don’t have much of a pivot here. It’s either you get this prop or not, maybe try to same-game parlay his hits allowed with a safe second leg if it gets too juiced but I don’t want to back anything beyond him allowing four hits in this specific game. Robbie Ray is much better at home but Atlanta historically crushes him and lefties in general. This game has so many things that could happen I just wanna dumb it down and go with the bet with a great hit rate from the Seattle bats and a nice hit rate from Morton allowing this number.
