MLB Parlay Picks for Friday: Cash In With This Expert's +627 Parlay
Due to popular demand, we're adding an article at Oddschecker that consists of two parlays. I'm going to add two different parlays, one being a moneyline parlay and the other being a totals parlay in the MLB daily. You can always mix and match these parlays where you see the value! Head to the OddsChecker MLB Odds grid to see complete odds for every game today on the board.
MLB Parlay Picks (+351) (Bet $100 to win $351)
- White Sox (-150)
- Astros -1.5 (-155)
- Mariners (-155)
The White Sox continue to slug away! The team hasn't been nearly as good against righties, but they'll take on a struggling Matt Manning, who has a 4.37 xFIP with low strikeouts and high-line drives allowed. Meanwhile, Lucas Giolito will take the hill for the White Sox with a 3.93 xFIP. The Tigers have been much worse offensively and have to try and hit against the better pitcher. Take Chicago.
Justin Verlander is back on the mound for the Astros. He's 16-3 on the year and is still campaigning for another American League Cy Young. I like his chances to dominate against a terrible Oakland team. Meanwhile, Adrian Martinez will get the ball for Oakland. He has a 4.65 xFIP over the last 30 days while allowing 30% of line drives. I've got the Astros winning this one by multiple runs. Robbie Ray has an xFIP of 3.88 in the last 30 days for the Mariners. He's a lefty with high strikeouts and low walks. Without Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani, the Angels are an awful offense. Ohtani has struck out 30% of the time against lefties, while Trout has only hit 14.3% of line drives against lefties. They've got weaknesses against Ray. On the other hand, Michael Lorenzen will take the mound for the Angels with an xFIP near 7 through his last 22 batters. Let's take the Mariners here.
MLB Total Runs Parlay Picks (+627) (Bet $100 to win $627)
- Phillies vs. Braves Under 7.5 (-105)
- Yankees vs. Brewers Under 8 (-105)
- Dodgers vs. Giants Under 7.5 (-110)
The Phillies and Braves are playing an important series. The Braves want the NL East while the Phillies are trying to stay in the NL Wild Card. We've got two lefties in Ranger Suarez and Max Fried, who will take the mound. Suarez and Fried have both earned high-ground balls and have given up low-line drives and fly balls. The Braves have more offensive weapons but not enough to get the total over. Let's take the under in this one.
The Brewers and Yankees are two of the most inconsistent offenses this year. The Yankees are hitting a .293 wOBA with 45.7% of grounders over the last 30 days against righties. Adrian Houser will pitch for the Brewers, and he's earned 49% of grounders over the previous 30 days. Meanwhile, Frankie Montas will take the hill for the Yankees. He's kept walks down and has allowed just 24.4% of hard contact. Lefties have hurt him more, but only two lefties have had success in the last 30 days against righties. That's Christian Yelich and Rowdy Tellez. Montas will battle and help us get the under.
Dustin May will take the hill for the Dodgers. May has earned a high ground ball rate and a low line drive rate. He's only struck out 23.3% of batters over the last 30 days. Meanwhile, the Giants' projected lineup has struck out 27.5% of the time and has a wOBA of .293. On the other hand, Logan Webb will pitch for the Giants. He's got an ERA below 3.00 and has been highly consistent. He's been worse against lefties, but only Freddie Freeman has done damage against righties as a lefty in the Dodger lineup. I'll side with the under.
