MLB Wednesday Parlay: Building Around Javier Baez, Alex Verdugo
Another night without football means another hit builder. Alex Verdugo and Michael Harris II came through for us last night, so let’s jump into a couple of spots I like for a hit builder.
The odds come out to -104, needed one hit from each to get to green. Let’s break it down.
2-leg MLB Parlay -104 (Bet $104 to win $100)
Javier Baez (DET) to get a hit (-240)
The original pick here was Bobby Witt Jr., but he’s not in the lineup, so we pivot onto Javier Baez of the Detroit Tigers. He has a hit in seven of his last ten games, including two games in that span where he racked up three hits in a night. Baez bats .305 off left-handed pitching, and Daniel Lynch allows right-handed batters to hit .278 off him. Baez is batting .429 (3-for-7) against Lynch, with a single, a double, and a home run. Sounds good to me.
Alex Verdugo (BOS) to get a hit (-260)
Running Alex Verdugo back tonight, as he now has a hit in seven straight games. He goes up against Dean Kremer, who he’s 3-for-11 (.273) off. Verdugo has been consistent lately, and I like him to keep things rolling tonight.
