Thursday's NBA Player Prop Pick: Thursday Night is Josh Hart Night
Let's just call it what it is. It's a weird night in the NBA. There are only four games and two of them look like they will be absolute blowouts. Here's the thing though people, we can't just take the night off. What are we just not going to have a bet going? Say that out loud and then think about how ridiculous it sounds. It's crazy talk. So here's what I was thinking, we look deep into the soul of the board tonight, and then bet something. Sounds crazy at first, but I think it will work.

Josh Hart Over 25.5 P+A+R @ -113 (Bet $100 to win $188.50 total)
*Odds available at FanDuel*
I'm at FanDuel because they have the best number. DraftKings is hanging 26.5 at -110 which isn't bad but obviously, FanDuel is the place here. It should be noted that neither BetMGM and Barstool have a number for this guy. They've got every other Pelican, just not Hart. Sus.
There are a lot of question marks on this slate but let me tell you, whatever question you may have, the answer is Josh Hart. Across the board. I wanted to take Hart's points. I wanted to take his assists. Hell, I even thought about his rebounds and his assists plus rebounds. But then it made sense just to play everything. More is better people. For action's sake.
Here's the thing about Josh Hart, he's a swiss army knife. Whatever category you need, he can get. He's going to need to play big minutes to do it, but he can get whatever. Guess what, I think he'll play big minutes tonight. He's played at least 34 minutes in each of his last seven games and gone over this total in all of them.
Here's what's going to happen tonight. The Golden State Warriors are going to sit Steph Curry tonight. The Pelicans stink so there's no reason to play him with a bruised quad. That injury hurts. Since that will happen, a nonsense game will break out because that's what happens when Curry sits. That should lead to the game should stay close enough for each team to give their starters a full complement of minutes.
I don't think Hart goes too high in the 30s, but it's definitely possible. He could get near the 20s just in rebounds and assists. At the end of the day, I think we're looking at a 13-8-5 type floor. That would barely cover each of his individual markets so it makes sense to just add them all up and hope he goes way over in one. Either way, we have action on a good bet tonight which is good enough for me.
