Our picks for Tuesday's NBA action.
ANALYSIS

Let's get stuck into tonight's NBA games and find some value.

Current Record - 4-6-1 (win/lose/push) -2.36u

Sam's NBA picks will reguarly giving you picks for the day's hoop action. I recommend backing these individually but you're welcome to parlay them too. Each pick is staked at one unit

Pistons @ Knicks

I'm going to be looking at whoever is playing the Knicks for the remainder of the season, they're in full-on tank mode and with the trade of Porzingis to the Mavericks it's even more clear that they are in rebuilding mode.

The Pistons are 9th seed in the East, and their starters got a fair amount of rest in yesterdays easy W over Denver. Both teams have something to play for, the Pistons have a postseason and the Knicks have Zion Williamson. The same result benefits both teams.

Pistons -3.5

Lakers @ Pacers

LeBron is back and Victor Oladipo is still out for a considerable amount of time. Ordinarily this would have me reaching for the Lakers but we're so close to the trade deadline that I'm taking the Pacers.

LeBron James is likely the only player on the team with any job securty at the moment, with the likes of Ingram, Ball and Kuzma heavily linked away as part of trades for Anthony Davis. That's got to impact their mental state and I hope the Pacers will take advantage of that unease. You never know, there might well be a situation when one, or more, of LeBron's supporting stars find themselves on the move.

Pacers +2.5

Timberwovles @ Grizzlies

The Grizzlies are under .500 at home and on a terrible run which has seen them win just 20% of their last ten games. I don't trust them at all tonight, especially given that some of their players are rumored to be on the move before the trade deadline.

The Timberwolves haven't been great this season but they've got enough about them to cover the spread tonight.

Timberwolves -1.5
