We nailed 2 of 3 last night, so a tidy profit but sadly not the clean sweep. We've got a small slate of games today so I've just picked 2 selections.

Current Record - 6-7-1 (win/lose/push) -1.54u

Sam's NBA picks will reguarly giving you picks for the day's hoop action. I recommend backing these individually but you're welcome to parlay them too. Each pick is staked at one unit.

Pelicans @ Bulls

The trade deadline is almost upon us and the Pelicans have more important things on their mind than a trip to Chicago to face a Bulls team who have actually been better on the road than on their home court this season.

The only form that matters here is the Pelicans being on a3-game losing streak, tied for third worst in the league, a long way behind the awful Knicks and Suns. Anthony Davis shadow has been looming over the Pelicans since his trade request and with all eyes on them until the deadline, it'll likely help condemn them to another defeat.

Bulls -0.5

Rockets @ Kings

Whisper it quietly but the Kings are sneaky good, they're a bright young team, brimming with potential and still have a chance to sneak into playoffs.

This is the Rockets fourth road trip and they're beginning to show the signs of tiredness, despite winning the last two games. It'll be tough for them to overcome the Kings' great home record especially given that they're still missing Clint Capela.

Kings +3.5
