Our picks for Monday's NBA action.
ANALYSIS

Nine games today, I was going to look for a treble but when the third team was going to be the Wizards +4.5 I thinks it's better to play it a little safer and go for a double.

Current Record - 6-9-1 (win/lose/push) -3.54u

Sam's NBA picks will reguarly giving you picks for the day's hoop action. I recommend backing these individually but you're welcome to parlay them too. Each pick is staked at one unit.

Knicks @ Cavaliers

The Knicks have lost sixteen games on the bounce, tied for the most in franchise history. They're a joke, a disgrace and an embarrassment to the city of New York but they're also world class at tanking. The Porzingis trade has told us that they're all-in on the rebuild.

The Cavaliers are a terrible side but given they're at home and the Knicks appear hell-bent on getting Zion at whatever cost, I'm backing the Cleveland here.

Cavaliers -1.5

Mavericks @ Rockets

There's a buzz around the Mavericks at the moment. Luka Doncic is putting up increidble performances at a rate usually unseen from a rookie. Combine that with the arrival of Kristaps Porzingis and the good vibes are back in Dallas. The Mavericks haven't been pulling up trees but they're a franchise heading in the right direction.

The Rockets should win this but any spread in double digits always feels too much for me. The Houston side still haven't found their momentum as they've begun to welcome players back to fitness, becoming the process of being a team again, and not just James Harden and some guys. Back the Mavs to cover.

Mavericks +10.5
