NBA Picks Friday 02/22
Last night we went 2-1, mananging to continue to rake in profit, with only a surprising Lakers performance stopping us from going 3-0 on back-to-back days. The Warriors again showed that despite their talent they rarely run up the score on lesser teams. I''ve only made two picks tonight but without further ado:
Current Record - 12-13-1 (win/lose/push) -2.08u
Sam's NBA picks will reguarly giving you picks for the day's hoop action. I recommend backing these individually but you're welcome to parlay them too. Each pick is staked at one unit.
Pistons @ Hawks
The Hawks may be at home but this spread just doesn't look right. Considering they've only won 9 games at home this season they will surely get beaten up by a Pistons side, currently sat in eighth position in the Eastern Conference, who have everything to play for.
The Pistons have a good defense, only allowing an average of 108 points per game, which looks even more impressive compared with Atlanta who give up more points than anybody else, a shocking 118 per game. This spread is far too close.
Pistons -3.5
Timberwolves @ Knicks
If you've been following this blog you'll have noticed I've backed against the Knicks relentlessly. I could tell you that the Knicks have the lowest home win percentage in the league, it's an embarrasing 14%, or that they've only covered the spread in 36% of their home games. There's no need for stats in this case though, the Knicks are hot trash and if you've watched them play you'll have seen that the NBA's most dysfunctional has reached new depths this season.
I don't even need to sell you on the Timberwolves, they're not the Knicks and sometimes that's enough.
Timberwolves -5.5
