Last night's pick was arguably the worst pick I've ever made, however the great thing about the NBA is that you always get a second chance. Lightning won't strike twice afterall. Looking ahead at tonight's games there are some huge spreads and a few games that may offer us value.

Sam's NBA picks will regularly be giving you picks for the day's hoop action. I recommend backing these individually but you're welcome to parlay them too. Each pick is staked at one unit.

There's no Brandon Ingram, he's lost for the season. There's no Lonzo Ball, who I believe is a crucially underrated member of their team, and a player their defense looks woeful without. It also seems that they may be looking to tank and improve any possible pick that they could offer the Pelicans for Anthony Davis.
Chicago have only covered in 41% of their games as a home court favorite. With that in mind I'm still backing LeBron to get the Lakers firing through sheer will.

This isn't a vintage Spurs but Pop has them firing, winning 5 games in a row. That's got them sat in the playoff spots but they need to keep on performing in order to lock that in.
The Mavericks are the key here and they have a chance of keeping their protected top-5 pick this year. To do that they need to continue losing games. Luka Doncic is on the injury report and will likely miss the game or see a minutes restriction. I wouldn't be one to say an injury may not be real but it's worth remembering that the less of Luka we see on the court, the better the chances that the Mavericks lose and keep that pick. I'm taking the Spurs to cover here.
