Our picks for Wednesday's NBA action
ANALYSIS

A great pair of winners last night. The Lakers destroyed the Bulls and the Spurs covered against a Mavs team which saw Luka Doncic have one of his worst games since joining the league. Looking ahead at tonight's games there is one that really stands out, Warriors @ Rockets, and that's going to be my sole pick.

Current Record - 24-20-1 (win/lose/push) +1.84u

Sam's NBA picks will regularly be giving you picks for the day's hoop action. I recommend backing these individually but you're welcome to parlay them too. Each pick is staked at one unit.

Warriors @ Rockets

Look, I'll level with you, I'm not basing this on statistics whatsoever, which is my usual rule. The Warriors aren't great at covering on the road, the Rockets have won all three meetings between the teams this season and Kevin Durant is out. Every fibre of my brain is telling me that the Rockets will win.

BUT and it's a big but, the main problem with this Warriors side, and their issue in recent weeks, isn't a lack of ability. Their roation may not be great but they still have the best starting five in the league. Their problem is boredom, they've won it all, they have nothing to prove. Except they do, tonight at least. They will not want to get swept by the Rockets, they will be refocused and ready. Tonight is a playoff game for the Warriors and we all know how well they do in those. Take advantage of this great spread and back the best team of the modern era.

Warriors +3.5
