NBA Picks & Parlays Tuesday 04/23
Let's get stuck into the action tonight. We've got four fun looking games tonight so lets jump in.
Sam's NBA picks will regularly be giving you picks for the day's hoop action. I recommend backing these individually but you're welcome to parlay them too. Each pick is staked at one unit.
Magic @ Raptors
This line won't last for long, so expect that to move to -12.5 soon. We enter Game Five with Toronto holding a 3-1 lead and it seems certain that the Raptors will wrap up the series on their home court. The difficult question is the spread but I expect a dominant home performance from Kawhi and co to ensure that they cover the spread here.
Raptors -11.5
Nets @ 76ers
This has been a feisty series but the Sixers look to have it by the scruff of the neck now. After the last win Joel Embiid joked about not messing up a 3-1 lead like the Warriors famously did against LeBron's Cavaliers a few years back.
It's imperative that the 76ers continue to play the basketball that they have in the last couple of games. They have more than enough about them, when at their best, to put this series to bed and cover the spread comfortably.
76ers -8.5
Spurs @ Nuggets
The closest of all the series and the only one with a guarantee to reach a Game Six. Both teams won one, and lost one, of their home games, showing the close nature of these two teams. The Nuggets don't have experience of winning these crunch games, which could be a difference maker, but I'd prefer to see Nikola Jokic as the difference maker. When the Serbian center is on his game he is difficult to stop and should ease the Nuggets through this one.
Nuggets -5.5
Thunder @ Trail Blazers
Oklahoma are on the verge of being dumped out of the playoffs, in what has been a series full of ill-feeling and anger. Russell Westbrook, as always, has been in the midst of it. We know how passionate he is and his unwavering will to win. It's that determination that will force the Thunder to cover today. I'm not certain if they win or not, but they'll be within three points certainly.Â
Thunder +3.5
