Daily Picks 11/11: Luka Luka Man Offers Great Value
Yesterday’s games were wild as reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 35 points and 16 rebounds in a 121-119 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, and Denver’s Nikola Jokic buried a jumper with 2.4 seconds left in the first OT period to lift the Nuggets to a 100-98 win over Minnesota.
Take a look at today’s NBA picks:
BET OF THE DAY
- The Dallas Mavericks hold a 12-6 record over the Boston Celtics in their last 18 matchups since the 2010-11 season. Stat taken from Statshecker. (statschecker).
The Boston Celtics enter this basketball game against the Dallas Mavericks riding a seven-game winning streak, which includes key victories over the San Antonio Spurs, Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors.
With that said, I believe the Celtics’ streak has a legit chance at coming to an end here.
The Mavericks look as if they are the breakout team of the 2019-20 season with Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis leading the way.
Doncic, an early-season MVP candidate, is averaging 27.7 points, 10.8 rebounds, 9.1 assists and 1.2 steals this season.
The Mavericks getting 4 points is the bet here.

The Houston Rockets are on a winning streak of their own.
James Harden finished with 42 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists, and Russell Westbrook contributed 26 points and seven boards for the Rockets in a 117-94 win over the Chicago Bulls in their last victory.
The Pelicans are coming off a win over the Charlotte Hornets.
Brandon Ingram had 25 points, nine rebounds and four assists, and JJ Redick added 22 points, five rebounds, two steals and two blocks in a 115-110 win.
There is no doubt this game is going to come down to Houston’s offense against New Orleans’ defense.
The Pelicans are last in the NBA in scoring defense with an average of more than 122 points per game; the Rockets are second in the league, only behind the Brooklyn Nets (120.8 ppg), in scoring offense as they are averaging 120.1 points per contest.
The Rockets minus the 4.5 points are the pick in this matchup.

The Utah Jazz and Golden State Warriors will square off at the Chase Center in San Francisco on Monday night.
The Jazz are currently on a two-game winning streak, with victories over the Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks.
Bojan Bogdanovic, who finished with 33 points, hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Jazz to a 103-100 win over the Bucks.
Michael Conley contributed 20 points, three boards and three assists and Donovan Mitchell had 19 points, five rebounds and six assists for Utah.
The Golden State Warriors, once NBA title contenders, are now in contention for the top pick in the NBA Lottery.
The big reason for that is the injuries to Klay Thompson and Steph Curry and the departure of Kevin Durant, who left for the Nets. D’Angelo Russell currently leads the Warriors with 25.3 points and 6.3 assists per game.
The Jazz have the best defense in the NBA, allowing 97.0 points per contest, and that isn’t a shock to anybody.
Look for Rudy Gobert, Mitchell and company to lead Utah over the Warriors in this one.
Take the Jazz minus the points.
