Daily Picks 12/02: Sixers By More Than Six
In Sunday’s NBA action, Luka Doncic had 27 points, 10 assists, nine rebounds and three steals for the Dallas Mavericks in a 114-100 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. Kristaps Porzingis added 15 points and six rebounds for the Mavericks.
For the Boston Celtics, Jayson Tatum had 30 points, six rebounds and seven assists in a 113-104 win over the New York Knicks.
Here are Today’s NBA Picks:
BET OF THE DAY:
Phoenix Suns @ Charlotte Hornets
The Charlotte Hornets will host the Phoenix Suns on Monday night.
The Hornets have a 59-51 record after a loss when playing as a home team since 2014-15. (S__tat courtesy of Statschecker)
The Hornets will look to rebound after losing to the Milwaukee Bucks.
Devonte Graham had 24 points, four rebounds and five assists for the Hornets in the 137-96 defeat. Terry Rozier added 19 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals.
The Suns will look to put an end to a three-game skid.
In their last game against the Mavericks, Kelly Oubre Jr. had 22 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals, and Devin Booker added 18 points, eight assists and five boards in a 120-113 loss.
I like the Hornets getting the 4 points at home against a team from the Western Conference.
I believe they will bounce back and even have a legit shot at winning the basketball game.
Roll with the Hornets plus the points in this one.

Utah Jazz @ Philadelphia 76ers
The Utah Jazz will visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night.
Since the 2010-11 season, the Jazz hold a 12-7 record over the 76ers, including a big win back on Nov. 6 of this season.
Donovan Mitchell led the Jazz with 24 points, eight assists and five rebounds, and Bojan Bogdanovic added 20 points, six rebounds and five assists in a 106-104 win over the Sixers.
Mike Conley had 15 points and six rebounds, and Rudy Gobert contributed 14 points, 16 rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Jazz.
For the Sixers, Joel Embiid had a game-high 27 points to go along with seven rebounds and three assists, and Jason Richardson added 24 points, four rebounds and four assists in the loss. Ben Simmons left that game in the second quarter and only chipped in two points and two assists.
This matchup is going to come down to rebounding and the head-to-head battle between Gobert and Embiid.
Utah had a 50-42 edge in rebounds over the Sixers, who were sixth in the NBA in rebounding through their first six games at that point in the season.
Look for the Sixers to get their revenge against the Jazz with a healthy Simmons, and Embiid and company will do a better job at rebounding on their home court.
Take the Sixers minus the 5.5 points in this matchup.
1u – 76ers (-5.5) @ -105
Golden State Warriors @ Atlanta Hawks
The Golden State Warriors will travel to Atlanta to take on the Hawks on Monday.
Since the 2010-11 season, the Warriors hold a 14-3 record over the Hawks. Both teams have a 4-16 record so far this year.
The Warriors enter this matchup on a two-game losing streak, which includes a loss to the Orlando Magic on Sunday night.
Glenn Robinson III led the Warriors with 19 points, and Draymond Green added 11 points, four boards and seven assists in a 100-96 loss.
The Hawks are on an even worse losing streak, having lost 10 games in a row.
Trae Young had 37 points, three rebounds and seven assists for the Hawks, but it wasn’t enough against the Houston Rockets in a 158-111 loss.
James Harden led all scorers with 60 points and eight assists in only 31 minutes of game action.
The Hawks are due a win and I believe they will get the job done at home against a team as bad as the Warriors.
Roll with Atlanta minus the 6.5 points at home here.
