ANALYSIS

In Tuesday’s NBA matchups, Evan Fournier had a team-high 31 points for the Orlando Magic in a 127-120 win over the Washington Wizards. Markelle Fultz added 20 points, three boards and six assists in the victory.

For the Detroit Pistons, Blake Griffin had 24 points and four boards and Andre Drummond contributed 17 points and 14 rebounds in a 127-94 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Here are Today’s NBA Picks:

BET OF THE DAY:

Golden State Warriors @ Charlotte Hornets

The Golden State Warriors hold a 12-6 record over the Charlotte Hornets since the 2010-11 regular season. (Stat courtesy of Statschecker)

These two teams squared off back on Nov. 3 in Golden State. Dwayne Bacon finished with a team-high 25 points to go along with six rebounds, two assists and two steals in the 93-87 win for the Hornets.

Terry Rozier added 20 points, five boards and seven assists for the Hornets.

Eric Paschall led the Warriors with 25 points, four rebounds and two assists while Glenn Robinson III and Ky Bowman contributed 16 points apiece.

The Warriors on the road plus the 4.5 points is the pick here.

I don’t think Golden State pulls off the win over the Hornets but I do think they are capable of covering the spread.

2u – Warriors (+4.5) @ -110

Phoenix Suns @ Orlando Magic

The Phoenix Suns will travel to Orlando to take on the Magic on Wednesday night.

Phoenix is coming off a win over Charlotte in its last game.

Devin Booker finished with 23 points, four rebounds and four assists and Kelly Oubre Jr. contributed 23 points, three boards and two steals for the Suns in a 109-104 win over the Hornets.

The Magic will look to extend on their two-game winning streak.

Fournier was the key guy in the win over the Wizards and Markelle Fultz also chipped in while Aaron Gordon had 18 points and 11 rebounds to collect the double-double.

Despite their 9-10 record, the Suns have a winning record against the spread (11-8). Not only that, but they have a 4-3 road record as well.

Look for the Suns to go into Orlando and come out alive with a win.

Take Phoenix minus the 1.5 points here.

1u – Suns (-1.5) @ -110

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Dallas Mavericks

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Dallas Mavericks will square off for the first time this season on Wednesday night.

The visiting Timberwolves will look to bounce back after a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.

In that game, Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 21 points, 12 rebounds and five assists and Andrew Wiggins contributed 18 points, six boards and seven assists in the 115-107 defeat.

Dallas will be eyeing a fourth straight victory in this one.

Luka Doncic, a frontrunner for MVP, finished with 33 points, 18 rebounds and five assists for the Mavericks in a 118-97 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday.

Seth Curry contributed 19 points off the bench for the Mavs.

The Mavericks are hot and I just don’t see anyone slowing them down anytime soon.

Doncic has been awesome and look for him to continue being great in this second leg of a back-to-back.

Take the Mavs minus the 3.5 points here.

1u – Mavericks (-3.5) @ -129
