ANALYSIS

In Wednesday’s NBA games, Brandon Ingram finished with 34 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals for the New Orleans Pelicans in a 107-99 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Also, Kendrick Nunn had 26 points, four rebounds and five assists for the Miami Heat in a 108-104 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, handing them their first home loss of the season.

Here are Today’s NBA Picks:

BET OF THE DAY:

Los Angeles Lakers @ Milwaukee Bucks

The Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks will battle in a matchup of the two best teams in the NBA.

However, both teams are coming off losses, which means one of them will suffer back-to-back defeats for the first time this season.

In their last game against the Dallas Mavericks, Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 48 points, 14 rebounds and four assists for the Bucks in a 120-116 loss. And for the Lakers, LeBron James had 20 points, nine rebounds and nine assists in a 105-102 defeat to the Indiana Pacers.

Los Angeles was without All-Star Anthony Davis but he is likely to return tonight.

I don’t think it will make a difference though, as I fully expect Milwaukee to come to play at home in this one.

Take the Bucks minus the 4.5 points here.

2u – Bucks (-4.5) @ +100

Brooklyn Nets @ San Antonio Spurs

  • In 17 games since the 2010-11 NBA season, the San Antonio Spurs have a 14-3 record over the Brooklyn Nets, per Statschecker.

The Spurs are coming off a tough loss to the Houston Rockets in their last game. LaMarcus Aldridge led the way with 19 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and two blocks in the 109-107 loss.

Brooklyn will look to make it three wins in a row in this matchup. Spencer Dinwiddie has been phenomenal for the Nets, as he finished with 31 points and seven assists in a 108-101 win over the New Orleans Pelicans.

For San Antonio, its latest loss to the Rockets came after the Spurs blew a 25-point second-quarter lead, and it was Houston’s largest comeback win in the history of the franchise. The Spurs have won three out of four games, and they will look to make it four out of five in this one.

The Spurs have a 71-22 all-time record against the Nets, and they have won 42 of 46 games, and 16 in a row. San Antonio has an incredible .913 winning percentage at home against Brooklyn, which is easily its highest home winning percentage against any team in the NBA.

Roll with the Spurs minus the 3 points here.

1u – Spurs (-3) @ -105

Houston Rockets @ Los Angeles Clippers

  • Since the 2017-18 NBA season, the Los Angeles Clippers have a 32-22 against the spread record at the Staples Center after a win, according to Statschecker.

The Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Clippers have already squared off twice this year, with the home team winning each game.

In their latest matchup on Nov. 22, Lou Williams led the Clippers with 26 points and eight assists, and Kawhi Leonard added 24 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals in a 122-119 win.

James Harden had 37 points, 12 assists and eight boards, and Russell Westbrook contributed 22 points, six assists and five rebounds for the Rockets in the loss. Harden had 47 points in Houston's 102-93 win over the Clippers on Nov. 13.

The home team, however, will keep it going in this one. Take the Clippers minus the 5 points here.

1u – Clippers (-5) @ -110
