BET OF THE DAY:

Atlanta Hawks @ Brooklyn Nets

  • Since the 2017-18 NBA season, the Brooklyn Nets have a 6-2 against the spread record against the Atlanta Hawks. (Stat courtesy of Statschecker)

The Hawks enter this matchup on a six-game losing streak. In their last game against the Utah Jazz, Trae Young had 30 points, eight assists and five rebounds in a 111-106 defeat.

For the Nets, Spencer Dinwiddie had 41 points and five assists, and Jarrett Allen had 19 points, 13 rebounds and six assists in a 118-105 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

Dinwiddie has been on a roll for the Nets, who have been without Kyrie Irving.

In their last game against the Hawks back on Dec. 4, Garrett Temple finished with 27 points and Dinwiddie had 24 as the Nets shot 49.5 percent in a 130-118 win. Young had a 39-point performance for the Hawks.

The Nets at home are the pick in this one. Take Brooklyn minus the 7.5 points here.

2u – Nets (-7.5) @ -110

Los Angeles Clippers @ San Antonio Spurs

  • Since the 2013-14 NBA season, the Los Angeles Clippers have a 64-47 against the spread record after a loss when playing as an away team (Stat courtesy of Statschecker).

The Clippers are coming off a tough home loss to the Houston Rockets.

Paul George finished with 34 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in a 122-117 defeat. Kawhi Leonard added 25 points, nine rebounds and four assists.

San Antonio, on the other hand, came off a big win against the Nets.

Patty Mills finished with a team-high 27 points off the bench in a 118-105 victory. LaMarcus Aldridge added 20 points, 10 boards and four blocks.

The Clippers and Spurs have split the two games they have played this season - the home team came away with the victory in both games.

The Spurs have a 129-43 all-time record over the Clippers, including an impressive 73-14 record on their home court.

But look for the Clippers to get their revenge against the Spurs in this one. Take Los Angeles minus 5.5. points.

1u – Clippers (-5.5) @ -105

Washington Wizards @ Philadelphia 76ers

  • The Philadelphia Sixers have a 19-5 record as a favorite this season. (Stat courtesy of Statschecker).

The Washington Wizards enter this game on a two-game skid.

Bradley Beal finished with 37 points, seven rebounds and six assists in a 122-118 loss to the Toronto Raptors while Ish Smith added 26 points.

Philadelphia is coming off a big loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night.

Joel Embiid finished with 33 points, 17 rebounds and two assists for the Sixers in the 117-98 defeat. Ben Simmons added 12 points, six rebounds and eight assists.

In this second leg of a back-to-back, expect the 76ers to bounce back in a big way at home.

Roll with Philadelphia minus the points in this matchup.

1u – 76ers (-13.5) @ -110
