In Monday’s NBA games, Kristaps Porzingis finished with 38 points and 12 rebounds and Tim Hardaway Jr. added 25 points, five assists and four rebounds for the Dallas Mavericks in a 112-103 win over the Indiana Pacers.

For the New York Knicks, Julius Randle had 20 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals and Elfrid Payton added 17 points, 15 assists and 11 rebounds in a 139-134 overtime victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Here are Today’s NBA Picks:

BET OF THE DAY:

Milwaukee Bucks @ New Orleans Pelicans

  • Since the 2010-11 NBA season, the Milwaukee Bucks have a 6-10-1 against the spread record in night games against the New Orleans Pelicans. (Stat courtesy of Statschecker)

The New Orleans Pelicans will look to rebound after a tough loss to the Houston Rockets on Sunday.

All-Star Brandon Ingram led the way for the Pelicans with 28 points, 12 rebounds and three assists and Zion Williamson added 21 points and 10 rebounds in a 117-109 defeat.

Way back on Dec. 11, the Bucks hosted the Pelicans.

Without Giannis Antetokounmpo, Eric Bledsoe led the way with 29 points, six assists, three boards and two steals and Khris Middleton had 24 points, five boards and four assists for the Bucks in the 127-112 win.

Also missing from that game for the Pelicans was Williamson.

Since his season debut, New Orleans is 3-3 and have a legit shot at making a playoff push in the Western Conference.

Jrue Holiday had 21 points, six boards and six assists and JJ Redick led the Pels with 31 points in the loss to Milwaukee.

Now at home, I expect a rejuvenated Pelicans team to play a much more competitive game against the Bucks.

Roll with New Orleans plus the 6 points in this matchup.

2u – Pelicans (+6) @ -105

Portland Trail Blazers @ Denver Nuggets

  • The Denver Nuggets have an 11-5-1 against the spread record against the Portland Trail Blazers since the 2017-18 NBA season. (Stat courtesy of Statschecker)

The Denver Nuggets will look to rebound after a tough overtime loss to the Detroit Pistons on Sunday.

Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets with 39 points, 11 assists, 10 rebounds, three steals and two blocks and Will Barton had 20 points, nine rebounds and five assists in a 128-123 defeat.

The Nuggets, who led by as many as 21 points in the first quarter, will have their hands full with Portland’s Damian Lillard in this game.

In five of his last six games he has scored 47 or more points. The only game he didn't he had 36 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds, which was his first triple double.

The Nuggets have their work cut out for them, but I expect them to rise to the occasion in this one.

Take Denver minus the points.

1u – Nuggets (-4.5) @ -105

San Antonio Spurs @ Los Angeles Lakers

  • Since the 2017-18 NBA season, the Los Angeles Lakers have a 6-3 against the spread record in night games against the San Antonio Spurs. (Stat courtesy of Statschecker)

After suffering a loss to the Trail Blazers on Friday night when the Los Angeles Lakers were in mourning over Kobe Bryant’s sudden death, they managed to bounce back in a big way against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday.

Anthony Davis had 21 points, six assists, four boards and two steals and LeBron James added 15 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds for the Lakers in a 129-113 win. Avery Bradley contributed 19 points, which included a team-high five three-pointers made.

The Lakers will host the Spurs in this game. San Antonio played against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday so this will be the second game of a back-to-back at the Staples Center.

Take the Lakers minus the 12 points here.

1u – Lakers (-12) @ -105
