PICK OF THE DAY:Â (2u) Georgia Tech +4 @ -110
Georgia Tech @ Clemson, 7:00 PM:
- Â Georgia Tech has won each of its last seven night games. (Stats courtesy of Statschecker)__.
The reason we’re backing Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech heads into this matchup having won three straight games, including a victory over Clemson back on Feb. 26.
In that game, Jose Alvarado finished with a team-high 19 points to go along with three rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Yellow Jackets in a 68-59 win.
Michael Devoe added 14 points, eight assists and six rebounds for Georgia Tech.
Aamir Simms led Clemson with 23 points, five rebounds and two blocks and Al-Amir Dawes contributed 10 points, five boards, four assists and four steals in the loss.
This upcoming game will now be played at Clemson. I definitely could see the Tigers coming away with a win in this game, but the pick is the Yellow Jackets plus the 4 points.

(1u) North Carolina State -7.5 @ -110
Wake Forest @ North Carolina State, 7:00 PM:
- Â Since the 2014-15 college basketball season, Wake Forest has a 4-14 record in games played during March.
- Â North Carolina State has a 4-1 record against Wake Forest since 2017-18.
The reason we’re backing North Carolina State
North Carolina State will square off against Wake Forest for the second time this season on Friday night.
C.J. Bryce finished with 18 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals, Devon Daniels added 12 points, seven boards, four assists and three steals and Markell Johnson chipped in 14 points with seven assists, three boards and two steals for North Carolina State in a 91-82 win over Wake Forest on Dec. 7.
Brandon Childress led the Demon Deacons with a game-high 30 points to go along with four assists, three rebounds and two steals in the loss.
As a team, North Carolina was on point from the field.
The Wolfpack shot 52 percent from the field and they connected on 12 of 22 shots from the three-point line.
Now on their home court, I expect another spectacular performance from the Wolfpack.
Take North Carolina minus the 7.5 points in this one.
(1u) Manhattan -5.5 @ -110
Fairfield @ Manhattan, 7:00 PM:
- Â The Fairfield Stags have a 10-31 record as an away team coming off 1 day of rest since the 2011-12 college basketball season.
The reason we’re backing Manhattan
Manhattan and Fairfield also squared off head-to-head earlier this season.
In that matchup, Landon Taliaferro finished with a game-high 24 points to go along with four rebounds and two steals and Aidas Kavaliauskas contributed 12 points, six assists and three boards for Fairfield in the 68-60 win.
The victory snapped a four-game home losing streak for Fairfield.
Warren Williams led Manhattan with 19 points and four rebounds off the bench in the loss.
Both teams are currently on losing streaks. The Stags have lost four games in a row and Manhattan is on a two-game skid.
So, something’s got to give, right?
Well, I’m taking the home team minus the points in this matchup.
The Jaspers will come out firing on all cylinders and they will most definitely cover the 5.5 points they are laying in this game.
