FanDuel Same Game Parlay Picks: Utah Jazz vs. Los Angeles Clippers
I started today’s FanDuel Same Game Parlay with every intention of betting on the Sixers tonight against the Bulls. Joel Embiid is basically a sure thing to go over his point total, especially with Ben Simmons likely back in the lineup. But, the Jazz are the best bet in sports right now, so we’re going to take a look at Friday’s game between Utah and the LA Clippers.
There are three bets for Jazz-Clips game that I have my eyes on, and I’m going to take advantage of FanDuel’s generosity and package them in a 3-leg parlay to try and win big.
3-Leg Parlay @ +487 - $50 Bet Wins $244
Leg 1: Utah Jazz -4 @ -110
Jazz -4, Jazz -8, the spread could have been Jazz -15 and I would have bet it. Utah is on one of the best runs in NBA history when it comes to both W-L and their record ATS. Since January 8, the Jazz are an insane 19-1-1 ATS. Good teams win, but great teams cover and no team covers more than the Jazz.
Utah has the best record in the West, and the NBA for that matter, and it seems like no matter who the league throws at them, they’re no match. They played this same Clippers team on Wednesday and won by 18. There is no situation in the world where I’d bet against the Jazz right now, and I’ll continue to tail them until they stop covering almost every single game they play.
Leg 2: Donovan Mitchell Over 24.5 Points @ -106
If I’m unsure about any of the three legs of tonight’s parlay, this is it. Mitchell was, for the early part of February, playing some of the best basketball in the NBA. But, over the last four games, we’ve seen some of his inefficiency that plagued him last year creep back into his game.
Still 24.5 points is low enough for me to be confident he gets back on the right track. I think a game against the Clippers, during primetime on Friday night will bring the best out of Mitchell and we’ll get a 30-point performance more in line with what we were seeing a few weeks ago from him.
Leg 3: Bojan Bogdanovic Under 2.5 Made Three-Pointers @ -136
Bogdanovic has been in a little bit of a shooting slump lately, so we’re going to ride that and expect it to continue on Friday. On the season, he’s shooting a respectable 38.7% from deep, but he’s shooting at an 18.5% clip from three-point range in his last five. Over that same five-game span, he’s yet to hit more than two three pointers in a game.
I like Bogdanovic as a player and think he’s a valuebale piece for Utah, but he’s in a slump and we’re going to look to take advantage of that tonight.
