Brian Good gives us his NBA 3-leg Same Game Parlay

The Jazz lose for the second time in over a month and Bojan Bogdanovic breaks out of his shooting slump just on time to ruin last night’s FanDuel Same Game Parlay. That’s pretty much how Friday night went. Still we’re going to the Western Conference again tonight as the Phoenix Suns take on the Memphis Grizzlies.

There are three bets for Sunday's Magic-Suns game that I have my eyes on, and I’m going to take advantage of FanDuel’s generosity and package them in a 3-leg parlay to try and win big.

3-Leg Parlay @ +570 - $50 Bet Wins $285

Leg 1: Phoenix Suns -4 @ -114

The Suns have been playing unbelievable basketball this month and are one of the underdog teams I like to make a postseason run this year. Phoenix has lost just two games the entire month of February, one of which was at the hands of the star-studded Brooklyn Nets. They are also the second best team in the league against the spread this season at 18-10.

Memphis has been solid both overall and ATS, but they’re not in the same league as Phoenix right now. Phoenix has very few weaknesses on the floor and should be able to easily handle Memphis by at least four tonight.

Leg 2: Devin Booker Under 25.5 @ -114

I hate betting against players I like, of which Booker is definitely one, but I think this is the right play tonight. Booker is an unbelievable offensive weapon, but he’s been playing a little below his potential of late. In ten games this month, Booker has scored 25 or fewer points six times. In the Suns only other game against Memphis this season, he put up just 12 in 35 minutes.

Devin Booker will score points, it’s inevitable, but part of putting good players around the young star is allowing those players to take some of the workload from Booker. Deandre Ayton, Mikal Bridges, Chris Paul and Frank Kaminsky can all put the ball in the hoop, which means Booker doesn’t have to do it all.

Leg 3: Chris Paul Over 1.5 3-Pointers @ -113

I actually couldn’t believe the price on over 1.5 three-pointers here. When I saw the prop I assumed it would be something around -150 or -160, too pricey for my taste. But this is a good bet for tonight’s game at -113.

The main reason the Suns have taken the next step this season is Chris Paul. He’s provided the team with the leadership, scoring, defense and ball handling they lacked in the past. Paul is shooting an insane 46.5% from three-point range this month and he’s made fewer than two shots from beyond the arc just twice in nine games, including five straight.
