FanDuel Same Game Parlay Picks: Philadelphia 76ers vs. Toronto Raptors
Last night was a great night for our FanDuel Same Game Parlay. We hit the three-leg parlay in the Suns vs. Grizzlies game, and the only leg we had to sweat out was Booker’s point total under, but we still got it. Tonight, we’re focusing our attention on the East’s best team, the Philadelphia 76ers, as they take on the Toronto Raptors.
There are four bets for Sunday's Sixers-Raptors game that I have my eyes on, and I’m going to take advantage of FanDuel’s generosity and package them in a 4-leg parlay to try and win big.
4-Leg Parlay @ +628 - $50 Bet Wins $313
Leg 1: Philadelphia 76ers -2.5 @ -114
The Sixers started the week in a rut, losing three straight with key players missing time. But, thanks in large part to the insane performance of Joel Embiid, they’ve won two straight coming into Sunday’s game against the Raptors, the first leg of back-to-backs against Toronto.
Both these teams are middle of the road in terms of their ATS record, but someone has to cover so I’m going to go with the team that has the best record in the conference, has won two straight and has the player playing the best basketball in the league right now. I’m comfortable laying the 2.5 here with Philly.
Leg 2: Joel Embiid Over 30.5 Points @ -110
Leg 3: Joel Embiid Over 11.5 Rebounds @ -106
There isn’t a player, or team for that matter, than can stop Joel Embiid right now. He’s playing the best basketball of his life, he’s the best scoring big man we’ve seen since maybe Shaq and if he continues to play like this, he should be right at the top of MVP voting when the season comes to a close.
His last time out, he went for a ridiculous 50 points and 17 rebounds as he carried the Sixers to a win over the Bulls. I’m comfortable betting him to go over 30 points basically every single time he steps on the floor. So far in February, he’s scored fewer than 31 points just once, when he put up 25 points and 17 rebounds. He’s averaging 30.5 points and 11 rebounds per game this season. Joel loves to get up for big games, and Sunday’s against a fellow Eastern Conference playoff team like Toronto should bring out the best of the big guy. I don’t expect another “50-piece McNugget” but I love him going for 35+ and adding 12-15 rebounds.
Leg 4: Danny Green Over 1.5 Made Three-Pointers @ -162
When I wrote about yesterday’s FanDuel Same Game Parlay, I said I couldn’t believe we were getting Chris Paul’s total 3-pointers at 1.5, and I feel similarly about Green’s here. The price for Paul last night was much better, but I’m comfortable throwing this on top of the parlay to add a little bit of value.
Green hasn’t shot the ball with great efficiency this season, hitting 3-pointers at a 38.1% clip, but he’s been getting hot lately. So far in February he’s shooting 43.5% from beyond the arc. He’s also hit four 3s in each of the last two games. Ben Simmons is expected to return tonight, which should take attention off of the Philadelphia shooters and lead to open looks.
