There are only two games on tonight, both make-up games for postponements in the first half of the season.
Washington won eight of its last 11 games before the All-Star break, including big wins over Western Conference playoff teams like the Clippers, Nuggets (white), Lakers and Blazers. One of their few losses in that stretch was to Memphis, and now they face them again to kick off the second half of the season.
Since rounding into shape after an awful start to the season, the Wizards have shown they can hang with anybody, and Russell Westbrook has looked much more like the player he was a year ago this time with the Rockets. They've become the best bad team in the NBA, and the Grizzlies are another team in the playoff hunt they could surprise. Taking them to cover here is good value.

San Antonio is one of the teams with the toughest schedules in the second half, having to make up a handful of games they had postponed due to contact tracing issues before the break. Throughout the rest of the season, they will have to pick their spots to rest their best players as they keep pace in the playoff chase. But kicking off against a Mavs team that has been up-and-down all year is a great opportunity to start the stretch run on a good note.
