FanDuel Same Game Parlay Picks: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Philadelphia 76ers
Two of the best teams in the East face off tonight as the conference-leading Philadelphia 76ers host the third-seeded Milwaukee Bucks. Philadelphia is again without Joel Embiid, but also come in riding a six-game win streak. Meanwhile, the Bucks have won nine of their last 10, including four straight. Who comes out on top tonight? Let’s take a look at a FanDuel Same Game Parlay I love.
There are three bets for Wednesday's Bucks/Sixers game that I have my eyes on, and I’m going to take advantage of FanDuel’s generosity and package them in a 3-leg parlay to try and win big.
3-Leg Parlay @ +567 - $50 Bet Wins $284
Leg 1: Milwaukee Bucks -6 @ -110
There’s nothing I want to do more than tell you to back the Sixers tonight. They’re my favorite team, I love the way they’ve responded with Embiid out and it’s a measuring-stick game for them. But, with the Bucks playing as well as they are and the Sixers coming in without any rest, this feels like a 10-point Bucks win.
This season, the Sixers are 14-7 ATS at home, good for the second best mark in the entire NBA. But, when they are playing without any rest they’re a different team. In the six games they’ve played without any rest this season, the Sixers are 1-5 ATS, the worst record in the league.
If Embiid was playing this may be a different story, even as the second half of a back-to-back. Unfortunately, I just can’t bring myself to back the Sixers without their MVP candidate on no rest.
Leg 2: Ben Simmons to Record 8+ Assists @ -122
If the Sixers are going to keep it close tonight they need a big game both offensively and defensively from Ben Simmons. The bad news in that Simmons’ assist numbers has dropped off in March. He averaged 7.9 assists per game in February and is averaging just 6.0 per game in his four appearances in March. But, that has also led to some good value here.
In 10 games against Milwaukee in his career, Simmons averages 9.3 assists, his second highest average against a given team. One of the things Simmons does best offensively is plays to his strengths. He’s an elite-level distributor, we just need guys like Tobias Harris, Seth Curry and Danny Green to make shots because a large portion of his assists will have to come on jumpers with Embiid sitting out.
Leg 3: Over 234 @ -110
On the surface, this total seems really high. But, if you treat last night’s Sixers game as an aberration you’ll see the Sixers’ and Bucks’ offenses have been two of the very best in the NBA of late. Since the All-Star break, the Bucks are averaging an insane 130.67 points per game while the Sixers are putting up 121.75 a night.
Despite not having their best player, Philadelphia is still putting the ball in the hoop at an insane rate, and we’ve seen Giannis Antetokounmpo return to MVP level to lead Milwaukee. These are two good defensive teams, but they’re playing even better offense of late. Even though the total is really high I’m comfortable betting on a back-and-forth high-scoring game.
