FanDuel Same Game Parlay Picks: Brooklyn Nets vs. Utah Jazz
We’re back to our FanDuel Same Game Parlays for Wednesday night. I’m really intrigued by this Nets vs. Jazz matchup as the Nets are missing a ton of star power and could be without James Harden now as well as he’s doubtful for their clash with the West’s top team.
There are three bets for tonights Nets vs. Jazz game that I have my eyes on, and I’m going to take advantage of FanDuel’s generosity and package them in a 3-leg parlay to try and win big.
3-Leg Parlay @ +714 - $50 Wager Wins $357
Leg 1: Utah Jazz -10.5 @ -110
The Nets have four top-tier NBA talents in their starting lineup on a given night. And, against all odds, they may very well be without every single one of them on Wednesday when they take on the West-leading Jazz. Kevin Durant continues to miss time with his lingering hamstring issue. Kyrie Irving is missing the roadtrip due to a family matter. Blake Griffin will miss time for “injury management” and James Harden, as of this afternoon, is questionable with a neck injury.
If Harden plays, there’s a chance the Nets keep it within double digits. If not, I cannot see any way this is less than an 11-point game. The Jazz, despite some recent struggles post All-Star break, have the best record in the NBA. They also have the 2nd best record in the league ATS. Give me the Jazz and I’ll lay the points against the injured Nets.
Leg 2: Under 230 @ -110
This play also has a bunch to do with the Nets not having any of their scoring available, so I’m not going to bet on them scoring enough to get over a fairly high total. Only two of Brooklyn’s seven games since the All-Star break have gone over the 230-point mark, even when they have a full or close to full lineup of stars.
The Jazz are going to score points. They are averaging over 120 points per game this month, but it could easily be a 120-99 game with so much scoring missing from the Nets’ lineup. If Harden plays, we start getting a little more concerned about the total. But I still think it’s a good play with or without The Beard.
Leg 3: Donovan Mitchell 30+ Points @ +158
Whether or not the Nets had their usual players I’d like this play, but it’s even more tempting when Mitchell is potentially playing against the JV squad. In his last three games, Mitchell is averaging 34.33 points per game and has scored at least 30 in each.
Even in bad losses, like their defeat at the hands of the Wizards, Mitchell was on, scoring 42 points on 53.3% shooting from the floor. Mitchell’s scoring average in his career against the Nets is the sixth highest of any opponent. I think he fills it up with relative ease tonight due to his recent good form and lack of talent on the opposite side of the floor.
