NBA Picks Saturday April 3 - Best Bets & Predictions
Expert NBA handicapper Sean Highkin provides his best bets for Saturday's NBA action.
Joel Embiid is expected to make his long-awaited return to the Sixers' lineup on Saturday, and he'll get to face the worst team in the NBA in the Timberwolves. Philly has won seven of its last 10 games, surviving just fine without their MVP candidate. Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns have a history, which will only add to Embiid's motivation to make a statement in his return. This is an easy pick.

The Knicks are on a three-game losing skid, which is the perfect time to face the worst team in the Eastern Conference. The spread is only 2.5, so New York doesn't even have to win big for this pick to pay off, they just have to beat a bottom-feeder team by three points, which should be more than doable for them as they look to get back on track and fight for playoff position.
The pick: Knicks -2.5 @ -110 (Click to bet)
The Blazers' defense has been better since the acquisition of Norm Powell and the return of Jusuf Nurkic, but it's still not good. On the other side, Oklahoma City will be overmatched by Portland's high-powered offense. Even in a blowout loss to Phoenix on Friday, several of the Thunder's young players were able to put up big scoring numbers. This game is going to be a shootout, so the over is the play here.
