But Boston's play, as seen in their Tuesday night loss to the Sixers, is much more concerning than New York's, and coming off a back-to-back, they're in prime position to fall as the Knicks look to gain an edge in the fight to avoid the play-in.

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Brooklyn Nets
Easily the most anticipated game of the night is the return of Kevin Durant, who has missed nearly two months with a hamstring injury. He may be a little rusty, but all indications are that the Nets have held him out as long as they have out of an abundance of caution, rather than because he wasn't fully ready to play—it's not like they've needed him to dominate the east. Now, it's one step forward and one step back as James Harden is expected to miss the next 10 days at least. Still, if Durant looks close to as good as he did at the beginning of the season, the Nets should roll against the inconsistent Pelicans.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Denver Nuggets
