This time, we’re focusing on tonight’s Los Angeles Clippers vs. Denver Nuggets game. The Denver Nuggets are one of the hottest teams in basketball right now. They’re 8-2 in their last 10 games and both those losses came to the Warriors. Meanwhile, the Clippers were playing great ball but have lost two straight. So, the first leg of this FanDuel Same Game Parlay is going to be the Nuggets covering the 4.5 points they’re getting.
These are two evenly matched teams jockeying for a playoff spot in the crowded Western Conference. So, I’m taking the points. Denver is a decent team against the spread on the road, and they’re playing about as well as they have all year right now. I think the Clippers still win at home, but only by a possession.
Leg 2: Over 222.5 @ -110
Leg two of Saturday’s FanDuel Same Game Parlay features the total in this one. These are two of the better teams in the entire NBA when it comes to going over the total, and with playoff seeding on the line I expect to see high-intensity offensive possessions.
Only four teams go over the total more than the Nuggets this season. Denver hits the over in 55.6% of their games and have had three of their last four games go over 223 points. Both these teams play at a relatively slow pace, but they make the most of their possessions. The Clippers also hit the over more often than not at 52.4%.

This was the easiest one for me to back once I saw that FanDuel Same Game Parlays brought back player props as an option. Michael Porter Jr. has emerged as a budding superstar this season. The former top recruit in the country coming out of high school had dealt with injuries in his short time at Missouri, but he’s been dominant during the 2021 NBA season.
In his last 10 games, MPJ is averaging 25.5 points per game and has scored 23 points or more in five straight. He’s shooting the ball well from deep and he can also get to the rim with ease. Since Jamal Murray has gone down MPJ as picked up the slack and I’m betting on that continuing tonight.
