FanDuel Same Game Parlay Picks

Friday’s NBA FanDuel Same Game Parlay was a +310 winner, and then last night we fell one leg shy as the Clippers and Nuggets couldn’t get over the total. We’re back on Sunday for another FanDuel Same Game Parlay and we’re going back to the well with the Sixers, looking for more of the luck we got on Friday. Check our Sunday’s NBA FanDuel Same Game Parlay below.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. San Antonio Spurs

Leg 1: Philadelphia 76ers -6 @ -110 (Click to bet)

Originally I came into this one thinking I was going to back the Spurs to cover the six points as the first leg of Sunday’s Same Game Parlay. But after a closer look at the numbers, I don’t think I can. My original thought process was the Sixers are a slightly above average team away from the Wells Fargo Center and the Spurs need this game desperately. So, while they may not win, San Antonio will come out firing.

But, the Spurs are absolutely horrible against the spread at home. In 32 home games they’ve covered the spread just 13 times. Their 40.6% cover percentage at home is tied for seventh worst in the NBA. They are one of the worst home teams in the entire league and while the Sixers to struggle on the road, they know the importance of winning down the stretch if they want the No. 1 seed in the East.

Leg 2: Joel Embiid Over 25.5 Points @ -116 (Click to bet)

We’re going for player props in our last two legs of the FanDuel Same Game Parlay. It’s been a little bit of a rough patch for the MVP candidate from Cameroon of late. He hasn’t scored more than 25 points in four straight games and while the team is still winning, he hasn’t been the focal point of the offense. But, a 25.5-point total is really low for him. He still averaging 28.6 point per game over his last ten.

Plus, without LaMarcus Aldridge, who in the world is guarding Embiid? Jakob Poeltl? Gorgui Dieng? There’s no way any of the big men on San Antonio’s roster are able to stop Embiid so be on the lookout for a big game from The Process.

Leg 3: Joel Embiid Over 1.5 Three Pointers @ +146 (Click to bet)

Leg three for our Same Game Parlay goes back to an Embiid player prop. If we’re getting a big game from Embiid, two 3-pointers is not a big ask. As a matter of fact if he’s going over 25 points you can bank he’s being active from distance.

Embiid shoots an insane 38.2% from beyond the arc, but it’s even better on the road at 41.7%. The biggest issue with this one in my mind is the fact that no one of the Spurs will be able to stop the Sixers big man on the low bloc, so they may force it down low. But, Embiid likes to let it fly from 3 and he does so at a high clip on the road. So, over 1.5 is a small ask for the MVP candidate.
