The best series of the first round continues after the Clippers have not only won two straight, but have outscored the Jazz by 31 points in the series.

The key may be whether Mike Conley plays. He’s currently listed as questionable, and if he can give it a go, it’ll give the Jazz that second shot creator they so desperately need for those moments when Donovan Mitchell isn’t able to do it all and the rest of the offense gets bogged down in the mud.

That’s been the reality for Utah, who hasn’t been able to score consistently despite shooting nearly 42 percent from deep in the second round on a league-leading 44 attempts per game.

What happens if they get an off shooting night? Or if Conley can’t play? Or if Kawhi Leonard, who thus far has averaged a pedestrian (for him) 27 a game in this series, pulls out another 40-piece like he did when push came to shove against Dallas?

The Clippers are getting points after being utterly dominant for two straight games. This game will almost certainly be closer, but they’re getting respect here that they simply don’t deserve.
