Which version of Joel Embiid are we going to get? The one that has largely dominated the series, shooting 57.5 percent through the first three and a half games? Or the one that missed all 12 of his shots in the second half on Monday night?

There’s really not much more to wonder about this game than that.

When Embiid is right, the Hawks have no answer. Yes, the Sixers offense still has some issues, and Ben Simmons has become almost a non-contributor on that end of the floor, but they still have enough to get it done with what they can do on the defensive end.

For Atlanta, they’ll need a much better effort from Trae Young, who struggles in Game 4 and has shot just 41.5 percent overall and 31.4 percent from deep for the series. The Sixers have been able to limit his effectiveness and since Game 1, the ancillary Hawks have only been able to do so much.

Without knowing what version of the big guy we’re going to get, this is a tough pick to make, but the bet is that he’s able to pull it together for what feels like a must-win game.
