Bucks vs. Suns predictions coming your way from our FanDuel Same Game Parlay picks for Game 5 of the NBA Finals

Bucks vs. Suns Predictions: Game 5 FanDuel Same Game Parlay Picks

Just a few days ago it seemed almost impossible that the Milwaukee Bucks would make a series out of the 2021 NBA Finals. The Buck trailed, 2-0, in the series and weren’t making much progress in either of their first two games. But, then the series went back to Milwaukee, the Bucks won two straight and now we’re all knotted at two games apiece.

Game 5 will be crucial for both teams. Can the Suns keep the home-team streak alive? Or will the Bucks finally reverse the trend and take an important 3-2 lead before heading back home? Let’s take a look at some FanDuel Same Game Parlay picks ahead of opening tip

FanDuel Same Game Parlay Picks

4-Leg FanDuel Same Game Parlay @ +1087 – $50 Bet Wins $543.93

Leg 1: Phoenix Suns -4 @ -110

Here we are, four games into the NBA Finals and the away team is yet to win a single game in the series. Actually, not only has the away team not won a single game within the series, an away team is also yet to cover the spread. I’m going to bet on that trend staying true.

During the regular season, the Suns covered 60.4% of their games ATS, good for second in the NBA. But, they were even better against the spread at home, covering 65.2% of the time. In the postseason, the Suns have a 13-7 records ATS, covering 65% of the time.

The Suns are probably the safest spread bet in the entire NBA, and I’m riding with them in Game 5 for the first leg of my FanDuel Same Game Parlay.

Leg 2: Giannis Antetokounmpo Under 13.5 Rebounds @ +100

Betting against one of the best basketball players in the world is not necessarily a sound strategy for your FanDuel Same Game Parlay, but I’m going to do it twice here anyway. I love Giannis Antetokounmpo. He is one of my favorite players. But, setting his rebound prop at 13.5 rebounds is asking a lot.

In Game 1 of the series, Giannis Antetokounmpo pulled down 17 rebounds. Since then, he’s only broked the 13-rebound threshold one time. I think Phoenix will put an emphasis on trying to make sure they keep him away from the hoop and get a body on him. I also expect him to play at a level below where he was at home these past two games.

Leg 3: Giannis Antetokounmpo Under 0.5 3-Pointers @ +102

This is my favoritebet of the entire FanDuel Same Game Parlay for Game 5 because I think it’s an easy winner. For everything that Giannis Antetokounmpo does well, he’s about as bad of a shooter as you’ll find anywhere.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has made a total of two three-pointers this entire series, going 2-11 from deep. But, more importanatly, we’ve seen his attempts plummet in the two games the Bucks have won. In Game 2, a game the Bucks lost by 10, Giannis shot five three pointers. Since then, he’s attempted just four total.

I think he realizes that if the Bucks are going to win, it’s going to be because he dominates down low, not because he catches fire from deep.

Leg 4: Chris Paul Over 8.5 Assists @ -120

Nobody in this series has more to lose/gain than Chris Paul. Paul’s career is winding down and the knock on the future HOFer is that he’s never been able to win the big game. Well, they don’t get much bigger than Saturday’s Game 5.

Paul is a dynamic scorer, but the way he helps this team most is by distributing the ball to guys like Devin Booker, DeAndre Ayton and even Mikal Bridges. He will get his points, but look for Paul to take control of the entire offense with the season, and his legacy, on the line.
