NBA Player Prop Picks for Friday: Finding Points in Boston Tonight

We've got 11 games on the NBA slate, and while I would love to toss out 10+ plays, I can't. I just can't do it. The reason is all DraftKings' fault. They put out a line that was so bad, and I can't even think about another move. All I can think is, what if my other move misses? Then I won't feel so good about the best play I've ever seen in my life. Nobody wants to take a chance ruining the best play they've ever seen in their life. That would be dumb. We're too smart for that.

Celtics vs. Bucks Odds

Robert Williams Over 9.5 Points (-110)

Line available at DraftKings at time of publishing.

I have no idea what DraftKings was thinking with this one. BetMGM and FanDuel at least juiced it up a little. DraftKings was just like whatever and threw it out at -110. That's crazy. I'm thankful for their carelessness, but it's still pretty crazy. We're talking Robert Williams here.

Here's the thing about Robert Williams. When he shoots, he scores. The guy is shooting a career-high 72.3% so far this season. We want guys who can put it in the basket efficiently because when those guys get opportunities, they thrive.

The Celtics are likely missing Jaylen Brown again tonight, and while he has been out, Williams has been going off. For him. In the two games Brown has missed, Williams has taken at least eight shots in both and ended up with 16 points. So while everyone is talking about Jayson Tatum, I think we should focus on Robert Williams.

Boston gets the Milwaukee Bucks tonight, so that's a good thing. The ghost of Andre Drummond just hung 17 points on them. Daniel Gafford broke them off for 11 the game before. They can be had on the inside, and if Robert Williams plays 30+ minutes like he's done the last two games, he'll score in double-digits.
