John Hyslop is back with an additional NBA player prop that he spotted for Friday's slate.

NBA Friday Best Bet: One Player Prop You Simply Can't Miss

You have to watch the NBA all day for player news. Out of nowhere, a superstar can just be named "out" for any game and when that happens, it causes chaos for the books. They always adjust but it's never perfect. Tonight Keven Durant is going to sit out of the Brooklyn Nets vs Orlando Magic game which is huge in my opinion. While everyone is trying to figure out which Nets' player to bet, I'm looking at the Orlando Magic side. They might not get rolled now.

Wendell Carter 15+ Points (+165)

Lines available at DraftKings at time of publishing.

I usually only play escalators at FanDuel but DraftKings beat them out on this one. FanDuel has +156 but DraftKings has +165 so I went there. Honestly, not a huge difference so either is fine. BetMGM doesn't have these so you are left with 12.5 on Carter at -115 if you want to tail that instead.

We have a lot going for us here given the fact that Kevin Durant is sitting out. The Nets are less likely to blow the Magic out which is a good thing. Blowouts ruin bets which ruin lives. I hate them. We may not need Carter to get his full compliment of minutes to get home here but it's nice to know if we need him, he should be on the floor and not the bench.

Carter is the kind of guy that produces when he plays 30+ minutes which is what we are looking for tonight. In the five games he's seen at least 30 minutes in November, he's gone over 15 points in four of them. There is an outside chance that Jalen Suggs misses tonight's game as well and if that happens, that would also give Carter a little upside. This shouldn't be +165.
