The Denver Nuggets are back over .500 after winning three of their last four games. The season has been plagued by injuries but Denver still has a fight in them throughout the season.

At this point, the NBA is a disaster with all of the athletes missing games due to protocols and whatnot. There’s no longer any room for excuses.

On the other hand, the Minnesota Timberwolves are 12-15 on the season and will head out on the road to take on the Nuggets. Minnesota ended a long losing streak with a win over Portland on the road and will look to continue that success on the road against the Nuggets.

The Denver Nuggets are back above .500 and are hoping to stay that way for the rest of the season.  The Nuggets haven’t been the best defense this season but should be able to find success against Minnesota on the glass.

The Timberwolves, at 12-15 on the year, have looked awful offensively, scoring just 107.5 points per 100 possessions while shooting a 50.6 percent effective field goal percentage.

The Timberwolves are always dominating the offensive glass, but it’s not going to be easy against the Nuggets, who allow just 24.5 percent offensive rebounds.

Again, Minnesota hasn’t looked great offensively and the one area where the Timberwolves always find success is on the offensive glass. The Timberwolves are used to getting second chances.

However, against the Nuggets, it’s not going to be easy. The Nuggets don’t defend all that well, but the two things they do well this season is defensive rebounding and limiting free throws. If the Timberwolves continue to take poor shots in this game, the under on the team total seems like the play.

Minnesota is also capable of forcing plenty of turnovers as the Timberwolves have earned 17.4 percent turnovers on the year.

So even while the Nuggets shoot a high effective field goal percentage, because of everything else, Denver is only scoring 110.2 points per possession.
