Alex Caruso Over 1.5 Made Threes (+112)

Lines available at FanDuel at time of publishing.

This one is best played at FanDuel although I understand that not everyone can get it there. If you have to go to Barstool that's fine as they have 1.5 +110. Both DraftKings and BetMGM are at 1.5 +105 which isn't great but at that point, beggars can't be choosers.

Only one team in the NBA shoots fewer threes on a per-game basis than the Chicago Bulls. So why are we taking one of them to hit at least two threes tonight? Because we know that stats are for losers. We know that if you can do a deep dive into the brains of some of these guys, you can find the advantage.

I don't know how much Bulls' basketball you people are watching but Alex Caruso is starting to stroke the three a little. It started on December 4th when the Bulls played the Nets. Caruso only played seven minutes that night but he jacked up four threes in those seven minutes. He took two in the first 90 seconds and even though he missed both, he still stayed with it enough to take (and make) two more before getting hurt.

Caruso came back a week later against the Miami Heat and what's the first thing he did? He took a three on the second possession of the game. He missed but his confidence didn't waiver and he hit another one before the first quarter ended. The guys who bet him over 1.5 threes that night got to watch three quarters of basketball while only needing one Caruso three to win. That's pure ecstasy people.

In just his third game since the December 4th matchup with the Nets, Caruso again jacked up a three in the first quarter. He missed but again, we want guys shooting. He's a big heat check guy so if he hits one, he's taking another one. That's just how he rolls. He was born like that.

With Zach LaVine on the Covid list, the Bulls will probably play Caruso at shooting guard again. He's already getting a boost since LaVine is the biggest ball hog in the NBA (that's a compliment). The Bulls are probably going to roll Houston tonight but it won't matter because even if Caruso's minutes are affected, he will have likely already hit two threes.

I know you didn't ask for more, but you're getting it. A lot of people won't tell you this but the game tonight is in Chicago. That's important because not only is home where the heart is, but it's also where Caruso bangs threes. On the season, he's 47.1% from three-land at the United Center. This is almost stealing.

*As always, FanDuel will let you James Bond this one if you like to party. I think 3+ at +390 is just crazy enough to work. Your call though.*
