NBA Player Prop Picks For Monday: Beal Can Dish Too

Monday's are probably the best day of the week to gamble. They just are. Depending how you break up your week, it could be the first day of a new week. Like a fresh start. Or it could be the last day. Like a get-it-all-back type situation. No matter what Monday is for you, we're raging gamblers and we need action. In my professional opinion, the Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards game tonight at 7:00pm ET gives us a great opportunity for that action. The best part is, I have two ways of getting down. What a Monday.

Wizards vs. Hornets odds

Bradley Beal Double-Double - YES (+120) - DraftKings

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Over 2.5 Made Threes (+125) - DraftKings

I'm at DraftKings for this one since FanDuel does not have the double-double number up for Beal yet. They also have KCP at 2.5 for +118 which isn't as good as DraftKings. I'm sure BetMGM and Barstool will be along soon but as of right now, they don't have player props for this game.

The Washington Wizrads are struggling with bodies right now. Literally everyone is on the Covid list which is bad. But, one man's challenge is another man's opportunity and that's the way I'm looking at this thing. For instance, Washington started Bradley Beal at point guard the other night because four of their guys are unavailable. The guy dished out 17 dimes giving him the easiest double double you've ever seen.

It looks like he will start at point guard again tonight since he did so well last time and they only have Tremont Waters as an alternative. I'd go with Beal on that one. The beauty is, even if Beal doesn't play 100% of his minutes at the point, he can still get home with the dimes like he did the game before last.

Now every smart gambler wants a little extra action so why not throw out KCP's threes again? This guy should get the volume since he took 10 threes the other night. He's shooting 43.4% from three-land at home this season and the Hornets don't defend the three-point line very well. On top of that, only one team in the NBA has seen opponents take more threes on a per-game basis this season than Charlotte. This feels right people.
