The Denver Nuggets are hosting the Sacramento Kings. Ride this +365 parlay with SI Sportsbook from Matt O'Leary

Denver Nuggets vs Sacramento Kings Same-Game Parlay: Back This +365 Parlay With SI Sportsbook

The Denver Nuggets are one of the streakiest teams in the NBA. They currently sit at 18-18 and a .500 team seems like their destiny based on some of their streaks already in this young NBA season. Back in November, they went on a five-game winning stream before turning around and dropping their next six straight. They've been a tough one to figure out all year.

Sacramento hasn't been nearly as difficult to diagnose, they're just not good. They're sitting at 16-24 after dropping their last two games and are 11th in the Western Conference. With that in mind, I have a same-game parlay for us to try our luck on for some Friday night basketball.

Leg 1: Nuggets at the half

For all the Nuggets flaws, they are one of the best first-half teams in the league. They are averaging 57.1 first-half points per game this year which is fifth-best in the NBA. Comparatively, Sacramento s 12th averaging 55.7. The Nuggets are one of the better defensive teams in the league ranking 10th in points allowed while the Kings struggle with allowing points. The thought process here is that Denver jumps out to an early lead and doesn't look back.

Leg 2: Nuggets ML

Same over arching theme here. The Nuggets will take advantage of the Kings poor defense and they'll be able to contain the Kings who are 12th in the NBA in scoring. Also, expect Nikola Jokic to have a big night for Denver. He's averaging 24.9 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 6.6 assists for the Nuggets this year which is good enough to have him as a top-10 scorer in the league. Sure, Denver will be without some guys but it's not enough to worry me off the moneyline.

Leg 3: Under 224.5 points

These teams don't score enough to get to this total. If you take their averages, both teams combine for roughly 215.3 points per game which is well under this mark. Denver will be without Markus Howard, Vlatko Cancar, Zeke Nnaji, and Jamal Murray which should impact them offensively but even still I don't think the Kings have enough in the tank to get this one over the hump and up over 224.5.
