NBA Player Prop Picks for Saturday: Bridges Can Score

I wasn't even going to bet the NBA tonight. I was going to just throw some cash on the NFL and call it a day. Why not right? We have two games so it's enough but the Cowboys/Eagles game is a mess. We have no clue who is playing for how long and all that so our hands are forced into the NBA. I'm glad it was because had it not been, I would have never found the greatest play I've ever seen in my life. Imagine missing something like that. It would have been tragic. We dodged a bullet people.

Miles Bridges Over 16.5 points (-116) - FanDuel

It matters where you play this one. Kind of. While FanDuel is keeping it reasonable, the others are not. Barstool is decent at 16.5 for -120 but both DraftKings and BetMGM want -130+ plus. That's getting expensive but still, I think it's worth it.

First off, Miles Bridges can ball and this number is borderline disrespectful. I get why they are doing it though. It's because the Hornets have been in some weird games that have gotten out of hand. Either they smash or the other team smashes. Either way, Bridges isn't always getting his full minutes. That's why his game log is all over the map. That and the fact that the Hornets have multiple guys that can score.

I doubt the game tonight gets too far out of hand. In fact, I think the Hornets will treat it like it matters since it's the Milwaukee Bucks. Everyone wants a crack at the defending champs. If anything, the Hornets may be the ones doing the blowing out. If that happens, Bridges should play 30+ minutes or close to it which is important.

Why is it important? Because you can't score if you aren't on the floor. That's just a scientific fact. Going back 10 games in which Bridges played at least 30 minutes, he's gone over 16.5 in eight of the contests. The times he failed, he ended up with 14 and 16. We're getting our entertainment dollars out of him regardless even though I think he cashes for us tonight.
