Monday's YOLO bet of the day from handicapper John Hyslop. John eyes the NBA tonight to give us a 5-leg parlay that can make us all rich.

Monday's NBA YOLO Bet of the Day: Hop On This Massive +35414 Parlay

It's YOLO time people. I held out as long as I could for the NCAA props but FanDuel never gave the alt stuff. For that reason, we just have NBA in this thing. The good news is, I figured this whole YOLO parlay stuff out. Just take a bunch of guys who appear to have no chance of clearing a total and parlay them. The ticket has to look dumb to the naked eye. That's the key. But it can't be too crazy either. Just dumb enough to work. There's a fine line and I think I may have found it.

5-Leg NBA Parlay Odds (+35414)

Jakob Poeltl 15+ Points (+215)

Nobody wants to be on Jakob. I get that but that's what makes this one perfect. Sure this guy is one of the softest centers in the NBA and is worse than Shaq ever was at hitting free throws. But the Spurs don't have anyone else to play right now. They just played an overtime game yesterday and he'll still probably play 30 minutes tonight. He's scored at least 15 points in four of his last six games. This is one of the smartest dumb moves on the board tonight.

Jordan Nwora 15+ Points (+154)

This kid is ice cold right now but that's why I'm including him. It's called buying low people. Idiots do it in the stock market all the time. Why can't it work for us sports bettors? Here's the way I see it, you can't score if you don't shoot right? That's just science. Well, Nwora just had a game where he took 11 shots even though he only hit one. Given the fact that the Bucks are down a few guys and Nwora isn't afraid to shoot, I'd say this move is just dumb enough to work.

Matisse Thybulle 10+ Points (+220)

This is the head-scratcher of the ticket which is why I love it. Thybulle has only done this three times this season. The bet is so dumb to the naked, untrained eye. But to a person that's not a complete hater, maybe it's not. For starters, Seth Curry could easily sit tonight with a bum ankle. Why would the 76ers play him against the Houston Rockets? With superstar Tyrese Maxey already out as well as Shake Milton, the Sixers are thin at the guard position. That could easily give Thybulle a couple more shots. He just needs 10 points people. That's not a lot. He just did last game.

Nassir Little 3+ Made Threes (+330)

This one is super sneaky and the books are catching on. He was +520 last night for this same bet, now it's only +330. With so many Blazers out, someone has to shoot the ball. Why can't it be Little? I think he's going to take at least eight threes again tonight just like he did last night. He only shoots 31% from three-land but whatever. Volume is king in this game we play and Little is getting it at the moment. Plus, if you're going to hit a +37273 parlay, chances are you'll need a Nassir Little move in there somewhere.

Dejounte Murray 25+ Points (+240)

This one feels wrong but that probably means it's right. With all the Spurs out with Covid at the moment, Murray's shot attempts have climbed but not his points props. Not enough at least. In his last five games, Murray has taken at least 21 sots in four of them. He's only gone over this number in one of those games but he also landed on 24 so there is that. It's crazy to have both him and Jakob in the same YOLO move but they just did this the other night against Philly when Murray ended with 27 and Poeltl hung 17. This is just the right mix of dumb and smart.
