Memphis Grizzlies vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Prediction

We have a short NBA slate tonight, but I love one game for us tonight. The play I am l looking at will be a battle between a pair of teams who reign from the western conference as the Minnesota Timberwolves will go into the Music City and look to knock off the NBAs hottest team in the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Grizzlies enter this game tonight fifteen games above the .500 mark. The surge has been led by star Ja Morant who is having an all-star season and showing that he is one of the best young stars in all of the NBA. Jarren Jackson Jr has also been outstanding for the Grizzlies this year and Desmond Bane. The run from the Grizzlies has been an impressive one, and they will look to keep it rolling tonight against the Timberwolves.

The Timberwolves have had a really solid season in their own right, as they are currently in a position to make the postseason. The Wolves have found their core in big man Karl Anthony Towns paired with young star Anthony Edwards and veteran guard D'Angelo Russell. This season, the Timberwolves have also got great contributions from their role players, including shooting guard Malik Beasley. The status of Grizzlies big man Steven Adams is currently up in the air tonight, and the Grizzlies will also be missing their normal starting small forward in Dillon Brooks. The Timberwolves come into this game tonight very healthy, only missing shooting guard Jaylen Nowell for tonight's game. The Grizzlies come into this one as a four-point favorite and will try and extend their win streak to eleven games which would be their best in quite some time.

The play I am going to in this game is to fade the red hot Memphis Grizzlies. Yes, I know many people are on Memphis tonight, and for a good reason. They have won ten games in a row and look unbeatable at the moment but let me get into why I love the Wolves tonight. The first thing is I love to bet on regression. This Grizzlies team is simply due for a bad night, they have had everything clicking, and they are bound to cool off at some point. The second reason is this line. The line is only four points when Memphis is the home team on a ten-game win streak? The line is telling the tale to me in this one that fading the public darling in the Grizzlies is the move tonight. The final reason is the Wolves match up very well against this Grizzlies team. The Timberwolves beat them in their last meeting 138-95. The first time these teams played, Memphis was victorious in overtime, but it took a late-game collapse by the Wolves, who led by double digits with less than five minutes to play. The fact we can get points with the Wolves tonight makes me love this play. This is a great offensive team who will be able to score enough points to cover this spread. Fade the public take the Timberwolves, and let's make some more money.
