NBA Player Prop Picks for Friday: Ayo Dosunmu Again

NBA Player Prop Picks for Friday: Ayo Dosunmu Again
The assist market is a tough one to master. For starters, I don't even know the exact criteria for an assist. Sometimes I don't even think the scorers know. Still, they're fun to bet. People helping people is always cool and the only way to make it cooler is to involve gambling. Tonight, we have what I like to call the opportunity of a lifetime. Again. We did this the other night on Twitter but I'm going back again tonight. The books have once again disrespected an up-and-coming star and they have to pay. I don't make the rules.

Ayo Dosunmu Over 3.5 Assists (-110) (Bet $110 to Win $100)
*Odds Available at BetMGM at Time of Publishing*
I went to BetMGM here because they are at -110 but you can really go anywhere. Except for Barstool because they don't have numbers on this guy yet. FanDuel has 3.5 for -118 and DraftKings has 3.5 at -120. It's all deadly but the -110 is where I'll go.
Let me tell you a little bit about Ayo Dosunmu. I love this kid. He's an absolute beast on the perimeter and he has made us all a lot of coin recently. He's already a first-ballot entry into the Gambling Hall of Fame after his last game but I think tonight will only solidify his legacy.
The books are once again hanging a 3.5 assist number on him when it should clearly be higher. I don't mind it but this is someone's kid. Have some respect. Dosunmu had 13 potential assists last game and 17 the game before it. That's almost 15 per game (math). So how is he only priced at 3.5? It doesn't make sense to me.
Tonight Chicago is slated to get blown out by the Milwaukee Bucks. At least that's what the books think since the Bulls are 10-point dogs. Still, I don't think that will affect this bet too much. Also, there's always a chance Dosunmu plays in garbage time if there is any. He did against the Memphis Grizzlies the other day.
Even if he doesn't get 30+ minutes (he will), the Bucks' opponents score 62% of their field goals via the assist. Dosunmu only needs four tonight. We've seen Ja Morant hit Milwaukee for 14 dimes, Trae Young for 11, and Pascal Siakam go for 10. All in the last week! I bet Dosunmu gets home easily tonight.
* For you James Bond types, FanDuel is boosting this as always. We have 6+ at +230 and 8+ at +800. Both of those are firmly in play tonight. Fire away. Again.
