NBA Player Prop Picks for Tuesday: Action Jackson

Before we go any further, I'm addicted to plus-money again people. It's something that happens when I hit a few in a row. I felt dead inside sticking to two bets that were both -115 or higher. It was sad. So tonight, it's give me plus money or give me nothing (I'm kidding, I'll bet -130 before I'll bet nothing). The thing with plus money is, you can still profit by going 50% (math). That's just how we want to live people. One guy comes out cold, another comes out ready and we stuff cash in our pockets. What's better than that? If both hit, then you're a king for at least 24 hours. That's living. Since we have a big slate, we probably want to dive in right at 7:00 pm ET. Here's what I'm doing.

Reggie Jackson Over 4.5 Assists (+125) (Bet $100 to Win $125)

*Odds Available at DraftKings at Time of Publishing*

I'm at DraftKings because they're out here just throwing around the +125 like it's nothing. BetMGM went +120 and Barstool went +115 so they are options too. FanDuel is the only one that's being kind of stingy with the +106 but that's still plus money. It's all deadly.

Here's the thing about Reggie Jackson, he's my kind of point guard. I'd consider him a score-first type but he can dish too. I can tell you this, he's a fun guy to bet. He always seems to have the ball. Even when he doesn't. It's crazy.

One thing I've noticed about Jackson is that he's an assist guy on the road. On the season he has almost 30 more assists on the road than at home, but he's played six fewer road games. Kind of weird. Really weird actually.

It gets even more strange when you consider he's recorded at least five assists in 10 of 15 road games he's played with Luke Kennard available. Three of the times he failed to get home he landed on four. Even though Jackson isn't really assisting Kennard baskets, the connection is getting stronger since Jackson has cashed this in six of his last seven road games with Kennard playing. The time he didn't make it he ended with four. What is happening?

Only two teams in the NBA allow fewer assists per field goals made than Washington but I don't think that even matters. Marcus Smart just got them for six (Schroder got them for five off the bench in the same game), VanVleet broke them off for 12 the game before, and both James Harden and Kyrie Irving had 7+ the game before.

I don't know if any of this stuff means anything, but I'm going with Reggie Jackson tonight. We only need five assists here people. That's not that many.

* As always if you're at FanDuel you can James Bond this thing. They have 6+ sitting pretty fat at +240. I can see that happening.
