Tuesday's NBA Player Prop Pick from Beyond the Arc: Trust Gary Trent Jr.
In our last article, we missed our Patty Mills play but did end up cashing Gabe Vincent to hit 4 3-pointers at +300 to turn the day around. Let's try to bring that same momentum into this game tonight.

Despite a plethora of options for this fine Tuesday slate, this article still took a bit longer than usual. While at first I got caught up in the weeds trying to find the sneakiest player possible, I was finally pulled into the mecca of 3-point shooting, which is whatever team the Hornets play. The Hornet's weakness against opposing shooters is no surprise to anyone reading this article, the trouble becomes narrowing down who we target. While Fred VanVleet jumped off the page, taking 16, 15, 11, and 15 attempts over the last couple of games, his line had adjusted to 4.5 +125. I remember just a couple of weeks ago I could bet 5+ threes at +300 and now it's a measly +125. While Scottie Barnes took 11 three-pointers last game….. That normally doesn't happen so he's going to be an immediate cross-off. OG Anunoby is someone I always like to target, but seeing he's struggled over the past couple of days finally leads me to the chosen one. Gary Trent Jr.
What is Gary Trent Jr. known for? Spot up 3-point shooting. Well, how do the Hornets match up against that? They allowed the most 3-pointers made and second-most 3-point attempts in the NBA. Trent is a shooter, some guys we target start out 1-5 and lose confidence but thankfully that won't be a problem for Gary Trent. Since coming back from injury he's only played two games but his form looks fine, going 4-11 and 3-7 since coming back. The Hornets play at the fastest pace in the NBA and I'm expecting Trent to get at least 8+ attempts from downtown, and for a career 38% 3-point shooter I'm confident he can get us over the mark.
