Stuart Durst Gives His Favorite NBA player prop pick for Friday. Today, we look to Eric Gordon to get the job done.

Friday's NBA Player Prop Pick from Beyond the Arc: Rolling With Eric Gordon

In our last article, we nailed Gary Trent Jr, easily knocking down five three-pointers made against the Hornets. This article has been both fun and profitable so far, let's keep that going with today's 11 game slate.

With an 11 game slate, there are multiple parlay pieces you can add to lower these odds into a more playable range, without accumulating too much extra risk.

Let's start with Eric Gordon. I was recently asked about Eric Gordon in a livestream, which made me realize, I hadn't bet on the savvy veteran sharpshooter all season long. Well, it's finally time to break that streak, considering his 3PM line definitely caught my eye today.

What's one thing we value more than anything from a 3-point shooter in the NBA? Consistency. Gordon is shooting 44.5 percent from deep this season, 42.2 percent over his last 10 games, and 44 percent in the month of January. Looking back through his game logs, he's also one of the few players to average over his prop line in every month of the season.

  • 2.2 Made on 5.0 Attempts in January
  • 2.5 Made on 5.4 Attempts in December
  • 2.0 Made on 5.0 Attempts in November
  • 2.5 Made on 4.5 Attempts in October

Looking back on it, there really aren't too many player props you can bet on right now that have this kind of success rate. Additionally, he now gets a great matchup with the Trailblazers. Like I talked about last time with the Hornets, the Trailblazers will likely come up in this article a lot. They allow the fifth most 3PM to opposing SG’s and Vegas is clearly telling us we are in-store for a high-flying matchup tonight.
