NBA Player Prop Picks for Friday: Mr. Wendell Carter's Night
Get yourselves together people, we're going on a heater. We all went through one of the gutsiest bets I've ever seen last night on Kevon Looney's rebounds so it's time we live a little. The goal here is to be highly entertained while never having to deposit into the books. We all know that. The thing is, in order to never deposit, you need to at least win a little more than you lose. That's the math behind this great game we all play. With that in mind, I think we should win this weekend. Like a lot. And not to sound too crazy, but maybe we don't get even mad when some guy cashes in the first half. I think this could actually work.

Wendell Carter 15+ Points (+110) (Bet $100 to Win $110)
*Odds Available at FanDuel at Time of Publishing*
I'm at FanDuel because they are passing out the (+) money. DraftKings has 13.5 for -115 which is another avenue but I'm addicted to that little (+) sign in front of my odds. It should be noted that if you want the 13.5, Barstool has it for -113 as well. BetMGM is the only one gouging us with -120.
I think this is one we can get excited about. I mean we should be excited about any bet obviously but this one has real legs. On most nights when we put our bets in, it's between the player in the lord at that point. Tonight feels different. Like the sportsbooks should just pay out the bet the second we place it.
Let me tell you about Wendell Carter. He's a good 15 point guy at plus money. He's been back for a couple of nights now after missing a little over two weeks with an injury. The kid looks like he hasn't missed a beat.
Now to the naked, untrained eye, it would look like he's a risky move but that's only because of fouls. If it wasn't for fouls, this guy would score at least 15 points every night. In fact, he's scored at least 15 points in every game he's played in 2022 that he didn't foul out of. It's only four games and it sounds better when you say it the other way but you get the point.
Opponent matters and the Magic get the Pistons tonight at home tonight which is perfect. Both teams stink so the blowout factor may not be in play. Normally it's tough to take anybody on either one of these sides but it feels safe tonight. Also, Carter averages four more points at home than he does on the road so that's cool too.
The haters are going to bring up the fact that the last time Carter played these guys he only scored eight points. That's true but he only played 16 minutes that night. Guy put up nine shots in that span too which is crazy. The haters should realize that the Magic were playing their third game in four nights. The kid was tired. Who amoung us hasn't gotten a little winded playing basketball? It's fine.
The conclusion I've come to is that there is no chance this bet loses. All Carter has to do is play at least 30 minutes and we should be gold. If you're worried about fouls, nobody fouls out two games in a row (probably). This move should start the heater.
