Monday's NBA Player Prop Pick from Beyond the Arc: Banking on Marcus Morris

While we came back to earth in the last article, with a tough loss on Eric Gordon (I was reminded why I don't bet on him ever, with Houston rolling out a classic 3-SG starting lineup). We have a very solid-looking slate here today, lets get another win with a Clippers veteran shooter tonight.

Things have been odd for the Clippers recently. Whether it's the 12 player rotations they are playing with, leading to incredibly unpredictable rotational moves, or their incredible comeback vs Washington, it's definitely been a journey. Missing out on all-stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George has really led to a lot of different players having to step up, especially offensively.

While guys like Reggie Jackson have been really inconsistent, leading to being benched a couple of times, along with leaning on multiple young guys to produce, I think Marcus Morris returning will give this team some more stability. In his first game back, he just got his feet wet, but end up going 2-6 from 3, scoring 16 points in 23 minutes.

That game against Charlotte was not only a great first game back, not having to play much, but also finally made this Clippers offense look more stable. When Morris last played the Pacers, he went 3-5 from 3, playing 38 minutes, I'm expecting another similar performance. He's hit this number in 6 of his last 10 games, but is averaging 5.3 attempts per game from beyond the arc. I'm expecting Morris to be very involved here against the Pacers.
