A lot of people wouldn't tell you this but we probably shouldn't go into the night with our only bet being a +310 YOLO on a 26-year-old point guard with less than 10 starts under his belt. I like the Goodwin play as much as the next guy but you know I'm right. Plus more is always better so there's that too. One way to keep the action going is to look into the 8:30 pm ET part of the slate and fire off something there. If Goodwin cashes early, it will bridge the gap to the 10:00 pm ET games. This is just how you make a Friday night last people. Luckily for us, I have the perfect move to pull this off.

You'll find this in the alt section of the player prop points section at FanDuel and it's beautiful. They also have 14.5 for even money which is nice. As for DraftKings, they're offering 14.5 for -105 if you have to play there. BetMGM has the same 14.5 but for -110 so there are options all over the place. I prefer the plus money though.

Here's the thing about this one, it's pretty expensive for Jakob. Like really expensive. I've played this dude for 11.5 before. But that was old Jakob, we're betting on new Jakob tonight. Big difference.

New Jakob is playing big minutes and actually taking shots. He's actually hit this number in four of his last five games. The only time he didn't was when he got smacked in the head against the Golden State Warriors. He was concussed and had to leave that game early. He was well on his way to cashing that night too as he had seven points in 12 minutes. If I had to guess, he probably begged the trainers to let him play. This is new Jakob we're talking about here.

New Jakob is getting a pretty soft opponent in the Houston Rockets tonight. They are dead last in defensive efficiency on the season. That's partly because they give up more points in the paint per game than every other team but one (Kings). Jakob just did these guys for 18 a few games ago and he only played 20 minutes because the Spurs smashed so bad. I bet he gets at least 16 tonight.
